I was looking into something kind of sweet or salty. I checked out the popcorn factory, and fanny mae. I don't want to send flowers or a fruit basket.

What I think would be best for them would be some kind of mixed treat basket. (like cookies, candy and popcorn...things like that)

What do you suggest for a great basket, that is worth my money? I am hoping to spend $60 - and under. Not too cheap, but I'm not made of money either.

Make a "Movie Night Basket". Buy a basket, fill it with favorite movies (they don't even have to be new releases) - Good family movies, like classic ones such as: Disney classics, the Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Jumanji, Hook, etc...Then fill it with microwave popcorn packets, popcorn cheese powder, Chex Mixes, Cheese and crackers, and hard salami. Ad to it a bottle of their favorite soda or sparkling Cider and some packets of hot cocoa mixes. You can even add a gift card to their favorite movie-rental place or favorite movie theatre. Wrap it up in colored celophane and attach a big bow. I think any family would love that and it because you picked out all the treats in it will make it special to them because they would see that you cared and didn't just go out and buy a pre-made basket! Have fun!

The best value for money would be to buy a basket and go shopping yourself to fill it with treats you know they like. You could even add a small toy for each of the kids and maybe a movie voucher for Mum and Dad. Hope this helps and you have a great Christmas.

You can go to the dollar store and get four coffee mugs with Christmas scenery on them and get a box of swiss miss hot chocolate packets with marshmallows and add a box of gourmet cookies.

How about a gift certificate to a particular restaurant so they can choose. You were focusing on sweets...when their diet may need more substance.
