The timing of the hostage release was odd, and I have wondered from time to time if it was not a set up to try and further disgrace Carter.

But why would Reagan's people want to do this after the landslide victory of the 1980 election?

What would be the point?

This girl came over with my sister and she is real pretty. she is real nice. I wanted to say, "would you like to go on a date?" But couldn't find the right opening. With women you can so easy make a mistake. I didn't want to get laughed at like, "he thinks i would go out with him?" But when she left she said, "do you mind if I came back sometime with your sister to see you." I said, "sure anytime." then they left. does that mean she is interested or is that something you say just to be nice? I mean does it sound like I got a chance?

My family (husband, I and kids) had to stay with my sister and her husband for 5 days. She said that we were welcome to stay but I found out later from her husband that she was furious and said a lot of ugly things. She didn't really speak for the first two days and avoided me. We ( my family) did not eat there, kept the house clean and only used water and electricity for bathes. We mainly stayed in our rooms.
I did not know she felt this way or I would not have ever stayed with her until our house was ready.
We were out in five days.
I bought her and her husband a $50 money order and a 40 gift card for dinner in a nice restaruant and a thank you card and told her how much we appreciated them and the use of their home. I explained that I knew it was a great inconvience and said that the $50 dollars was to help with the utilities for the 5 days we were there.
Do you think I did enough? I will never tell her that I know about what she said about us. I still hurt a little

Well after talking to other family members turns out that we all pretty much got sick from yesterdays Thanksgiving dinner at my husbands grandmothers house. Syptoms stomache aches. diarrhea. We got two female cats in January and then in April the nicer of the two died. The meaner cat was pretty ok with being an only child but a couple months ago we got a male kitty and the mean girl cat has been bullying him and growling and snarling at him. The kitten likes to play and will bob her head but she just growls and hisses at him. She used to get along with the old cat how can we make her get along with this one? They're both fixed.
