I was reading an article that basically said that religion loses its credibility when it says things that are different than what science teaches. In the article, the idea was being thrown out that it was time for religions to quit speaking against homosexuality.

The author of the article was saying that homosexuality has been proven to be something that is determined by birth. The thinking is that if it isn't a choice, then homosexuality can't be against the will of God.

Does any one think that America will meet its demise and fall like the Roman Empire? There are plenty of simularities. for example: both have/had a great military presence ( though the United States dosen't admit to being a Military/police state). Both have conquered/occupied territories to maintain an advantage, (i.e. military installations around the world). History has shown that all great civilizations rise and fall. what do you think?

and what I got after marriage was lies, tricks to keep me under control..., threats of killing and suicide..emotional, verbal and physical abuse, I tried to make things work out...but no use...even I wished to wait for baby for a year as I was not sure about things working out between me and my husband...but was tricked into pregnancy too.....Now I hate everybody there and have been at parents house from 3 months and want a divorce ..mutual one without any fuss...he wants me back but I cant tolerate it anymore...can you get a divorce without going to the court?

I just bought my Samsung YP-T9 MP3 player. It was working fine (about 1 week) and now when I open the media file, I cannot see the music, pictures, or text files that used to be there. They are still on the player so, I have not lost my music but, I cannot edit them like I used to be able to. Such as removing and adding music etc. Please help! Thanks.

HELP
I am my mother's carer as for years since i could remember my mum has been sick with CFS?
Six mths ago I noticed a change in my mum with speech,memory problems and sleeping as well as having no energy.
My mum then fell over for no reason that I saw and had a stay in hospital for a week with fitting and other injuries.
Since all that my mum has had consitent headaches as well as ongoing pain which leaves her breathless and so moody and tired?
then I notice her hair thining and mum's hair all over the place.
At last I got her to the doctors and they stunnned us both when they told mum and I she had cancer that matches her CFS sypmtons which were similar?
They done all the tests and mum's treatment will bide time but only to make her comfy so now mum has refused treatments then gets told she has 5 years to live as long as she gets no infections,then it could be 6mths?
How do i watch my mum die?
I wish to fullfill mum's dreams like we shared but she is suffering so much?

I have alot of emtional problems. I havnt been happy since i was about 14 (im almsot 18 now) and the stupidestthing is i have NO reason not to be happy. So im almost positive theres something wrong and i need help . I also can get really mean no for reason. I basically hate myself at this point in my life. I was wondering if anybody here knows where to buy those leg sleeves nba players wear. The long, colored ones that go to about ur knee length. I need one of these b/c i take a lot of charges in games and my sweaty legs rub all over the court. I want to have those sleeves so I don't make the floor more slippery. Plus, it just looks cool to me also. By the way, I went to Sports Authority already, and they didn't have when I checked.
