just tell him that u don't want to continue the relationship anymore. if u don't do this, u only gonna hurt both of u. he won't die cos a man never consider such "love things" as a major problem.

It will hurt him and you more in the end if you wait. Coming from a guy who has been there plenty of times to talk about, just say it from your heart...not at dinner, not in a public place, just at home with you and him. Have a discussion about it but be civil. And if you still love him and want to be friends or possibly get back together, tell him that too. I'm not sure how he is going to take it but that is what I would like to hear. I would want you to be happy and if that means hurting me in the process, as long as I know you still care I would be fine.

So you still love him but not enough to stay with him eh? Well tell him how you feel about this subject and your reasons why you might want out of the relaltionship. Tell him maybe he should change something about him? You didnt give much info so I really dunno what to say, Id say if you truly want out, start ignoring your phone when he calls and then tell him you have alot of plans, he will know whats going on then but he might be hurt alot over it, provide more details and I can help you out more!

If you still love him why are you leaving him? And yeh i agree, he's NOT gonna die, he'll move on just like you, 3 weeks later you'll bump into him and he'll be with someone else.
