Last time I checked, the Consititution said that ALL men were created equal...not some, not some more than others, not "when the mood strikes".....our great "leaders" need to "waste" time arguing important issues, not "translating" what the Constitution "might be" saying... Thus, if all men are created equal and with certain inalienable rights (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) granted by their Creator, then what is the ruckus all about? Why are we "defining" what a marriage is? I remember when it was a "mortal sin" to marry outside your religion or race...if two people are in love and want to marry, who are we to rape the Constitution??? I know too many heterosexual couples that should be locked up for marrying outside their SPECIES....but--live and let live (ie: respect) Hello?

Are you tired of seeking human equality? The questions is posed because many people out there would rather have their say in your personal affairs.
Should gay marriage be legal? Not a question worth my time.
Should governments extend civil unions to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered couples? Yes.
Should governments recognize marriages condoned by religious groups? If and only if it does not cause harm to the people.
This is where you ask, how would a union between people in love harm "the people?" and my answer would be: It does not, but if Joe Bob of the American Church of Animal Husbandry wants to marry his four legged lover then we would have a problem. Although there are other laws to deal with this issue, but I hope you see my point.

I am also gay but i am not tired of this question. As long as people are asking it means more and more people are opening to the idea which makes the world ready for a culture in which marriage is a right that everyone has.

I believe that too much attention is being given to an issue which is really not relevant to the lives of most of the population...if people focused their time and energy on issues than can make a difference in peoples lives, it should be on issues like helping the needy, building sidewalks on streets for children to walk on, not littering our highways, electing honest officials into office, performing and act of kindness, etc...as if gays and lesbians will automatically become straight because they can not legally marry, people need to get a life...and what does it really mean to be "straight" anyway...funny.

Definitely! It's really annoying, because no matter what people really think, gay marriage is gonna be legal one day no matter what,I mean look at all the other laws we have, some people don't like them, but they are there, always gonna be that way. People should learn to accept things and move on,but we all know that'll never happen.

I have a few gay friends. They don't really ask nor do i about it.. but it is something that needs to be worked out.. church and state are 2 different things. I think it should be a non issue and it should be allowed.

It's always gd to have questions to prove that people r thinkin abt these issues all the time anyway...the real issue in general is that the questions have all become so similar that we have resorted to askin questions about those questions...argh...
