I've never served or trained as a sniper in the army, although I am once a soldier. I'm just curious who's best. (Preferably answers from people who have served as snipers before.)

My neighbor is going to be looking after my daughter a few hours per week (she's 3), and I want to know what's appropriate to pay her per hour.
She's a lady who's already retired, and looking after her own grandchild at the same time. I'd be paying her in cash. What would be an appropriate rate?

I have a bunch of songs recorded on Cubase S.E, but, when I try to export them, they all sound lifeless?!?!? When played thru Cubase, they sound great (on Bose speakers or Sony headphones) but when I convert (export) to wave and burn them to CD, they sound....well... crappy really... Has anyone out there had the same prob? Yes?? HOW DID YOU FIX IT??? I understand Bose speakers and top-notch Sony headphones are very forgiving, but surely they can't make that much difference?... Or do I really need Studio Monitors?..

Hi all,
I thank you all for answering my previous question (will or would be a good teacher). I got some clear picture, but still got some doubt. Maybe this is too easy, but I need answer. In my previous question all said there is some condition in the case of second sentence (He says she would be a good teacher). Now please explain me the meaning of these two sentences:

1. Sam says if she is a teacher she will be a good teacher.
2. Sam says if she was a teacher she would be a good a teacher.

What I understand is: we use condition one for probable action in present or future; condition two for action which are contrary to known facts and which we don’t expect to take place in present or future.

Now the girl is not a teacher, but wants to take up that profession; and Sam thinks the girl will be a good teacher in future. Then which sentence is correct: a) Sam says, “She will be a good teacher” or b) Sam says, “She would be good teacher”.

Hope I am clear. Please answer this.

Ok, so I agreed to be the maid of honor for my friend, but all of the other bridesmaids live on the otherside of the country and I don't know them at all. My friend is a bit of a diva and I know she expects a nice bridal shower and bachlorette party, but I can't afford to pay for everything by myself. Normally, the other bridesmaids would help out at least alittle, but they won't be around until a few days before the wedding. Do I hit them up for money anyway, or go into major debt just to keep the bride happy? I already have a shower planned & invites have been sent. I'll be spending about $500. Am I on the hook for a bachlorette party too??? Any cheap suggestions???

Now, he hasnt called me in over a week. He called me however yesterday, I didnt pick up. Then he texts me 4 hours later,.. saying "goodnight"... should I sit back and let things unfold, or keep steppin'?

I am thinking of purchasing a Canon sd600 (also known as Digital Ixus 60). The only two criticisms I have read of this camera are:

1) Flimsy plastic battery door - I don't care much about this.
2) Battery life is short and there is no battery meter.

Supposedly the camera only warns you a few minutes before your battery is about to die, and considering that this camera uses a proprietary battery and not AAs, then this might be a significant issue.

So my question is that is there really no "battery meter" option, or is it just some 'advanced' display feature that is turned off by default and the average layperson doesn't know how to turn on?

I wanna have a projector that I can use it for watching TV at home, doing presentation on a meeting and access with my computer and enjoy the large screen while browsing on the net. And want to do all of these WIRELESSLY.What should be the min. resulation and contrast for a clear view with a projector? I am thinking about Optoma's one model with 5000:1 contrast ratio. Also, I wonder if I can get rid of the antenna cables? I mean is there anyway that I can find a way to transmit the antenna signals to the projector?
