Benadryl. However, it will make you drowsy. Better set your alarm clock. Then---If you are getting swelling and hives from a food allergy, quit eating it. That is very dangerous. Next time it might be your throat that swells, then you can't breathe. This is called an anaphylactic reaction. Could be fatal. Get treatment from an allergist. You need to have special medication with you at all times in case this happens.

I don't know how to fix that overnight but I would suggest that if it's that important to you and you think that your disorder will ruin any chance you may have you may want to postpone the interview as long as possible. Call the person doing the interview and ask them if you can do the interview in a couple days. I know that Thursday being Thanksgiving that will push the interview into next week and ordinarily that would be a bad thing. I think however that the holiday will make things seem not as bad for the employer.

Hi. Make sure you find out what it is you are allergic to. It can be anything from an orange to an egg. Cold packs will help with the swelling and zinc cream will help dry the pimples. Good luck with interview. M

Apply calamine lotion and cool compresses. Avoid medicated lotions.
Watch for signs of increasing distress.
Get medical help. For a mild reaction, a physician may recommend over-the-counter medications (such as antihistamines).

Small reactions with mild symptoms usually respond to nonprescription allergy medications.

An oral antihistamine, such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Caution – These may make you too drowsy to drive or operate machinery safely. They can affect concentration and interfere with children's learning in school. These medications should be taken for only a few days.

For rashes, an anti-inflammatory steroid cream such as hydrocortisone
For small, localized skin reactions, try cold, wet cloths or ice. Try applying a bag of frozen vegetables wrapped in a towel.

Hey, I'm not sure.. Try using medicines that are anti-histamine. But I guess you need doctor's help because I don't know the dosage or effects. And oh, try to stop eating the food you are allergic to.

Unless you have Prednisone @ your home, the best thing for you to take is Benadryl. If it makes you sleepy, just take one....otherwise take two (50mg). Good Luck on you interview, hope you get the job!!!!
