I'm traveling along so i want to met other Backpackers or travelers. Would like to see as much as i can. I'm only stayin for 12 days then on to Aus.

You can check out www.asiarooms.com for room rates that you favour. Plenty of choices to pick from. Try Suk 11 at www.suk11.com. Place is backpacker hostel, cheap and good. You can email to make reservation. Place is in the heart of Bangkok in Sukhumvit and just next to Nana Skytrain Station. Very convenient to travel around Bangkok.

You're better of staying solo at a guesthouse and look to meet other travellers / backpackers out and about. A hostel is only marginally cheaper than a decent guesthouse or low end hotel in Bangkok and a lot cleaner / more ameneties.

'just go around Khao san road in Bangkok...all travelers are there...and the cheapest hostels also, and the best parties! Lots of things to do , to buy...
