Forgive my ignorance, but I'm having Comcast High Speed Internet installed tomorrow, and I'm a little unsure about the process.

I asume the installer will bring with him everything I need, but is that right?

And I definitely don't have to have a landline, correct? That's my main reason for switching over to high speed. I'm basically paying over $40/month for dial-up, because I only use my landline to connect.

I'll have Internet access immediately after it's set up, right?

Anything else you want to throw in there about the whole shebang would be great.

Alright boys and girls! Since my old car was totaled in an accident, I need to buy a new one now. I'd like everyone's thoughts regarding which car I should get. Hi,
I really need advice.A friend visited my house with his daughter.He normally just does not watch her when he brings her! I do! I have a dog.I want to say that my dog means ALOT to me!!His daughter received a warning from my dog.He nipped her face for going near some sort of toy that was on the floor.They were all on the floor(dog,child,toy).I have a child and a niece that are loved by my dog!The child's parents were around the 1st time.Ok,well it happened again.This time much worse.Her father brought her to My house and left her unattended.He knew what happened the 1st time.He was told not to even come over WITH his Child!My dog was in a different room with the door shut.Somehow it got opened and Boom,next thing I heard was my friend saying that his daughter needed a hospital.Just to remind you He WAS NOT watching his child.Now my dog is most likely to be put to sleep.I feel terrible for the child.Her face is bad.She is only 18 mos.I have been crying for Both! I miss my dog....

I am sick of these rich actors with way too much free time jetting all over the world and trying to shame us somehow. The average person is not heartless - but we are also not millionaires either. Our last 4 weeks of work didn't net us 20 million.
They seem to be self obsessed - it really doesn't seem to being doing anyone any good at all. Why don't they just give their causes their own money? They have it after all - the working folks don't.

The burka would be fine if the males had some restrictions as well on what they(males) expose.
Why is it only women are to cover up ? we humans were born naked (Not that we should be naked) why is it that a woman should be ashamed of her self OR raised to believe she is to be hidden ? ....Now if anyone says that men are going to look at her sexually ..... he was talking about his ex wife...she was dressed up to go out (he was over there to pick up the kids)...when i inquired about how he felt about it...he said she'd never dressed like that for him before...he said it was good that she was dressed up (cuz maybe it means she's over him and is moving on...but in woman world, it sometimes means that she is trying to make him jealous and to get him to come crawling back when he sees what he is missing...) and that it bothered him slightly that she had never dressed that way for him...i dunno how to take it... he said he's not in love with her anymore and that he isn't turned on by her anymore beciase he found someone who he cherishes and loves...me. how should i be reacting to this?

myself and bussiness partner were having a drink in union rooms and as we were leaving a doorman said something to me which i did not here. when i said pardon me i was grabed from behind pinned to the floor and manhandled out witch has left me with a broken finger and back injuries. my partner aloso received the same trearment. when the police spoke to the staff at the pub they said i looked very alike to a known trouble maker. he then said to me in front of the police we all look the same, meaning black people. being outraged at this i found the police were unwilling to do anything about this. am i wrong to think this is a serious matter or should i, as the police officer said, let it go and move on?
