I mean I just squeezed juice from a grapefruit and put sugar in it and woooooooooow.... I mean wooooooooww it tastes more sweet than all sour like all the grapefruit drinks at the store, how amazing, I'll neeever buy grapefruit out of a bottle again i'll just buy grapefruits from a store, hm....

I noticed the same thing with fresh-squeezed orange juice. It has to do with the fact that juice manufacturers use fruit that isn't fully ripened. Like you, I can't drink storebought juice anymore.

that's why i rather eat a grapefruit where i can put my own sugar on it . i have those little spoons that are very sharp at the end and i use them to loosen up all the pieces in the grapefruit after i cut it in half and then i put on all the sugar i want and that way is the best way to eat a grapefruit and i just love to eat them that way.

I agree, fresh is always better, but have you tried Ocean spray brand pink grapefruit juice or minutemaid pink grapefruit juice (comes in the paper milk carton looking container).. those two are nice..

"Grapefruit" juice in the bottles at the store have the water and high fructose corn syrup in it...It's not even real grapefruit juice.Some say 100% real juice and then in real tiny print they put "from concentrate"....It's nasty.

any citrus fruit juice for that matter tastes little sour when canned. the same juice if taken fresh tastes different.if you really want to enjoy sweet sweet grape fruit juice add salt to it and enjoy.

i don't drink the juice, i prefere pealing it and eating it. it takes ages, but i prefere it that way.

fresh juice is alwasy better. it sometimes is cheaper too.
