Forgive my ignorance, but I'm having Comcast High Speed Internet installed tomorrow, and I'm a little unsure about the process.

I asume the installer will bring with him everything I need, but is that right?

And I definitely don't have to have a landline, correct? That's my main reason for switching over to high speed. I'm basically paying over $40/month for dial-up, because I only use my landline to connect.

I'll have Internet access immediately after it's set up, right?

Anything else you want to throw in there about the whole shebang would be great.

Thanks, and I'm sorry about my woeful ignorance about this whole subject!

Comcast will bring everything they need. Your internet will be provided through cable so you wont need to use a land line. You will also be able to use the internet right after installation. You may need to let them set up the connection on your computer or it may be plug and play. Hope this helps.
