he was talking about his ex wife...she was dressed up to go out (he was over there to pick up the kids)...when i inquired about how he felt about it...he said she'd never dressed like that for him before...he said it was good that she was dressed up (cuz maybe it means she's over him and is moving on...but in woman world, it sometimes means that she is trying to make him jealous and to get him to come crawling back when he sees what he is missing...) and that it bothered him slightly that she had never dressed that way for him...i dunno how to take it... he said he's not in love with her anymore and that he isn't turned on by her anymore beciase he found someone who he cherishes and loves...me. how should i be reacting to this?

I think that you are a very very lucky women. I am sure that you have walked down the street and thought "whoo he looks good" but it does not mean you would sleep with him., The same is true of your partner.
I think you have to accept that there will always with some connection with his ex wife. After the break up. We learn, we learn not to make the same mistakes again. ( i often think that if my ex had changed MAYBE we still would be together. but he didn't and we split) dont worry about what may have been. He loves you. Be proud that you have him, and even if she does want him. YOU HAVE HIM AND BE PROUD. take care

there is nothing you can do about it. He's gonna think what he wants too. You're gonna have to understand that at some point they had chemistry and attraction. He might always be attracted to her in a visual way, just as we enjoy looking at hot guys. It doesn't mean he wants to pound her again most likely. Think of this... they've already tried to be together and it didn't work. He's with you now, as long as he doesn't start acting funny or spending unusual amounts of time picking up or dropping off his kids then you probably have nothing to worry about.

That is someone he was once in love with, there will always be an emotional connection no matter what. Just be happy he is so open with you about expressing his feelings. Your getting upset about him telling you something a lot of guys would not.

He sounds considerate ("maybe it means she's over him and moving on") so I'd generally say don't worry about it, but you know better than us.
