I'm sure you'll hear this 8 million times, but every baby is different. If he's hungry he'll wake for a feed. The general guideline for infants 1-4 months is 6-8 feedings daily of 4-5 oz / 125-150 ml per feeding. I have enclosed a link to the "Feeding and Nutrition Guide" located on my website; it's very helpful :)

A two month old should be feeding "on demand" which means the baby determines the feeding schedule. And night feedings should definately still be happening. At least once a night.

I have 4 kids - all teens now. My opinion is - there is no such thing as "should" at 2 months. If she is hungry, she needs food. My first nursed every 2 hours, around the clock - YIKES! My second nursed longer and only every 4 hours, slept through the night at 2 months (he's still the most predictable - lol).
My mom and grandmother told me - until they are 4 months old, if they cry they need to be fed, changed, or held. From 4 - 6 months, see if they need to be changed, then let them cry or fuss for 20 minutes before you respond. After that - and my experience validated it; they are aware enough of their environment to start manipulating it. Make sure they are safe, certainly, but - otherwise - let them cry it out.

Baby should be waking at night for feedings. They don't have an am/pm clock. They have a hungry/not hungry clock. Baby should be feeding every 2-4 hours.
CONGRATS!

I feed my two month old son every 3 to 4 hours, depending when he gets hungry but over night he sleeps for 5 to 5 1/2 hours and I don't wake him up. I told his doc and she said it is good this way he learns to sleep over night. Don't worry about her weight since she eats during the day missing one feeding won't affect it. My son is 14 LB and he eats 4oz of formula every feeding.

every two and half to three hours.snd yes she need to br fed during the night.still so early for her to sleep the whole night wzout eating.what you do is that try not to feed her except at times of feeding, even if she cries.that way she will know how to finish her meal, coz she will be really hungry then, and if so,she will sleep more and her stomach will get used to that and will feel more comfortabe.u can then after a while begin feeding her every longer period, but not very longer, like 15 min more for every meal.1 good tip, whenever she sleeps, day or night, even for 20 min,if u don't have work to do,then ruuuuunnnnn and sleep u too.she might be up when u really need to sleep, and then these 20 min will give you some energy.and don't change diapers or give her showers right after feeding her.she might vomit.if so,wait for some time before feeding her again.

You would normally feed every 2-3 hours at this age. My son wasn't satisfied with that and I start adding a very small amount of rice cereal to his bedtime bottle and made the nipple hole a little larger to allow the rice cereal to fit through and he started sleeping through the night (about 4-6 hours). Doc's shun on it but my family has done it for years without any problems.

you should feed your baby every two to three hours as research has shown babies body temps and sugar levels drop when not woken for feeds and can increase the chances of cot death.about four to six months you can leave it every four hours and then your baby will gradually stop wanting it;s night feeds.I'm a mum of eight healthy children.good luck
