I am a home health nurse and take care of a 12 year old girl. I've been taking care of her for a year now and have grown close to the family. I'm trying to think of christmas gifts for the little girl, her 6 year old brother and the mother. Any suggestions. The little girl isn't active and is in bed most of the time so I need a gift that would be suited for her.

I'm having a Christmas party and I was going to mix about 30 CD's of my favorite Christmas songs and give them to the guests and my mother was like, "Is that legal?". So I was wondering... I got them off of iTunes if that makes a difference.

War, Economy, Corruption, the environment... this is what the country wants to talk about.. overwhelmingly!
so are you only interested in hearing yourselves over and over..
the dead horse is still dead?

I'd like to hear from the right how our economy is strong, ...without using GDP,GNP or the stock market as examples. with the bottom 50% of the country only controlling about 1% of that end of the economy it's not relevant to the working man or woman.

I want to hear from the right that the war is necessary for security with facts not sermons about spreading free market democracy..

I want to hear from the right a shred of proof that global warming "is not" directly tied too carbon and other industrial pollutants ...

I want to hear from the right that corruption on the right is somehow less egregious than the corruption on the left...

lacks the will to fight a decisive war with overwhelming firepower, inflicting severe damage on the enemy, and enemy supporters? Is this evident in the ultraprecise weapons that take out targets, but leave the average person almost unaware that a war exists, except what is read in the paper? Does this paradigm compel a hostle nation to view the free world as liberators, or would capitulation under extreme suffering be more effective in bringing a long lasting peace?

Ok, lets say that your ex-spouses' new spouse, worked as a biochemist, at hopital that you had to use to have an important surgery. Do you have the right to ask for that person not to test your blood, because of conflict of intrest. And does the other have the right to upset by you asking that they not do it. Acting as though they would loose their job??

Then why doesn't Israel just do the same? They should just put civilians around all the the places in Israel that the Palestinians target. (Like cafe's, public busses, villages near the borders, etc)

I want to get a 37 inch flat screen high def tv for my husband for christmas. I dont have the money to pay for it all upfront and dont have good enough credit to open a store credit card. Head cheese covered in chocolate sauce, which is disgusting but not nearly as it sounds if you don't now what head cheese is. And no, it wasn't willingly. There was this buffet in Nairobi with cheeses and cold cuts and deserts all on one table. I took a slice of what I thought was a marbled cheesecake, put chocolate sauce on it and sat down. The waiters were all looking at me rather oddly at this point. I then took a bite. It was most definitely not cheesecake...

Only with a chocolate flavor. I couldn't spit it out because I was in a very fancy restaurant, so I swallowed the first mouthful and suddenly lost my appetite.

Ok I like this guy. He is everything I want in a guy, but he likes my friend who also likes him. Do I give up on it or should I keep pursuing him as a friend in hopes that this thing between them will blow over soon? ... if i can use enough to cover up where the cold air is coming in? or do you think that the purpose of fiberglass is to insulate the whole wall from cold? or is a majority of the air coming in from the cracks? and could i get away with filling those cracks if that is where the cold air is coming from and saving money? keep in mind that the garage is being occupyed by a pool table where we play pool.
