I am a home health nurse and take care of a 12 year old girl. I've been taking care of her for a year now and have grown close to the family. I'm trying to think of christmas gifts for the little girl, her 6 year old brother and the mother. Any suggestions. The little girl isn't active and is in bed most of the time so I need a gift that would be suited for her.

Get her something that 12 year old girls like (sorry, i have boys) that she can easily play with given her limitations....You can buy bead kits, dolls, games that she can play by herself or with others, books, puzzles, movies, or frilly girl stuff, like a makeup kit.....hope this helps...As for the mom, some nice bubble bath, lotion, and or candles from bath and body works would be great, for the 6 year old boy, they like action figures, hot wheels, movies, etc....All age appropriate of course...

I am twelve also so I think maybe a CD or something. I always would be happy to receive a stuffed animal also. The six year old brother, maybe a little toy truck and I think the mother would like maybe a nice bath soap or something like that.

Try a plug in video game. Anything to keep her mind busy. For the sibling whatever he is into. For Mom. A little tlc. Pay for a massage or day at the spa.

Well since she is in bed alot, I presume she reads. Try the newest Harry Potter books. Or a subscription to a teen magazine.

an activity book, or something that has a variety of things to do. perhaps a puzzle book, word finding. Also... it depends on how big of a kid she is... I some older kids still like things like etch-a-sketch... but whatever you get... i'm sure she'll be pleased.

Well depends on what she likes really I think maybe a radio to go beside her bed a portable T.V/DvD player.

well maybe you should try getting her a coloring book or some paints and paint brushes and see if she could express herself that way (since she can't do sports) its a very nice way to show how much you love her and tell her just to have fun and express herself with it!! wow!! u must really ⥠her! hope u pick my answer!! ^_^
