I want to get a 37 inch flat screen high def tv for my husband for christmas. I dont have the money to pay for it all upfront and dont have good enough credit to open a store credit card. Any ideas how I could make monthly payments on a tv without opening a store credit card? Any online shopping that allows payments besides QVC? Thanks

Good Question. I just got back from Wal- Mart and saw some plasma and flatscreen TV's at reasonable prices. Lay away is always an option. If you want it before Christmas I'd try some local auctions, silent auctions or hotel refurb projects. I recently found out that most hotels that refurb their rooms usually sell their Tv's and beds really cheap. Ebay would be a last resort. In most cases on ebay, you can place a bid on a tv at the price you are willing to pay and then if someone out bids you, go bid on another one. you're not obligated to pay unless you win the auction. But beware of some sellers, it's always best to check the sellers feedback rating. Always go with a rating highr than 95%

Sorry, cannot help you. Sometimes you don't need great credit to get store credit.
