You need to be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) to work in the UK as a medical doctor. In addition, if you are from outside the EU / EEA, you must have a UK work permit.
To achieve GMC registration, you must have (1) an acceptable primary medical degree such as MD, MBBS, or MBChB fro a recognised institution and (2) evidence of adequate English language skills. Doctors from outside the EU / EEA are generally required to pass the PLAB test, which assesses both language and medical skills.
More information on GMC registration is at http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/join_the_register/index.asp.

To be a Doctor in something, you need to have studied your select subject at Higher Education level for 6 years, this gives you a PhD
Notice how all these other answerers automatically assume that Doctor means Medicine, which is not true. You can be a doctor in ANY field; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Medical Science, Vetinary Science, Psychology etc
Find a University or College that offers Phd Courses in the subject you want, and the easiest way to do that is look at:
www.ucas.co.uk
Medicine is generally a lot of qualifications to get into it as so many people want into it.

i do no longer understand this question. of course somebody has to have studied regulation to advance right into a solicitor! regularly it is an LLB or different qualifying regulation degree (eg a joint honours degree in regulation and yet another difficulty), besides the undeniable fact that it may additionally be by a conversion course, which covers each and every of the middle factors of regulation. that's observed by the criminal prepare course, then a 2-365 days practise settlement at a solicitors' company. that's all below the watchful eye of the regulation Society. there is not any way of fixing right into a solicitor without being qualified!

You need to enrol at the national medicine council, not sure of the name, and take some tests... it is actually not very hard as there is a need in the country of general practitioners in the country ask your British Council local office and they will be able to help you...
