If its a perfectly innocent conversation, void of any sexual content in any way, it should be ok. But if it has anything to do with sex in anyway, then its not right and should be stopped asap!! Same with women chatting with men online......

I think its fine if its only simple hello, hi, how are you chat, but yes once it becomes more than that, then i would say that its cheating in a certain way when the chatting becomes more personal with eachother and the messages dissappear from the messanger then i would think something is up. My husb. actually created a different em account and different name that i didnt know about and was secretly talking to alot of women but one specifically he had an affair with after spending some time online chatting so he said.

Depends on who it is and why. I don't do a lot of IMing, but I do run an instant messenger and will ocasionally chat with guys and girls. Most of them I already know in person, and I make no secret about what I am doing.

Umm, Brianna, how old are you? I know plenty of people over 25 that IM. It's just that most of us chat about specific things or topics, same as our phone calls, unlike the inane chatter of those under 25.

I am really not the jealous type, but, unless its a friend or something, I don't feel they have any business talking to other women on the computer. I believe my husband has too much respect for me to be talking to other women

To me that is a big red flag! Find out what his conversations are about. There are programs that you can get to spy on him. Know all your facts. That is the beginning of my ex husbands affairs. Started out with innocent chats. To me it is a form of cheating especially if your spouse is uncomfortable with it. Does he hide the conversations from you or is he willing to let you see a chat log? Good luck to you

Talking how? Just normal conversations? Or more adult in nature? You're leaving way too much info out to be able to give you any kind of good answer or advice.

I would hit him on the head with a shovel when he was doing it. I imagine that would put an end to that.

if you trust your husband should not be a problem. It becomes a problem when it or he crosses the line.
