Why are people so blinded to the fact that Christmas was created just for the sake of businesses making more money. Most merchants count on Christmas time to get them out of the red. Am I the only one who sees the true meaning of Christmas, which is to get as many people as possible to spend as much money as they can. Christmas is not a Biblical holiday. Jesus asked his followers to remember his death, not his birthday.

I'v been married 14 yrs now,and to my dismay have found out my wife is having an affair with a younger man,25 yrs old who lives with his mom.I have been faithful to my wife,always givin her affection told her I love her and that I'm in love with her every day of my life .we are in our early 30,s me 32 and her 33 we have 2 beautiful children together.she will not listen to advise from anyone,that guy is young and has already been through a divorce after only 2 months of marriage or so this is what my wife tells me.she says he loves her and she loves him after only 4 months of knowing each other.he knows shes married and has 2 kids and is still chasing her.as for me I am in a world of hurt,not knowing why this happend.I was raised by my mom because my father cheated on my mom and promised myself at a very early age that I would not make who ever I got married to suffer the way my mom did.but as it turns out it happen to me.ladies do you think my wifes affair will end in happiness for her

well...this guy from school used me to make his ex-gf jealous and i really loved him...but after i found out the actual reason behind him asking me out, i really hate him.......i mean, how cud he do this to someone who trusted in him..i feel so betrayed and USED!!!....i really want that guy to suffer BADLY!!....i just want him to suffer, but i really dont know how to do it...I want him to feel that using me was the greatest mistake he could make...i want him to feel bad..and hurt...i dont want him to want me..i just wanna make him realize what he is missing out on....i hope you guys understand what im trying to say....its a bit difficult to explain the feeling i have for him now....pls can u guys help me out by giving me ideas on how to make him feel bad??...no rude comments please....thankyou!..may god bless you!

Been dating this guy almost 6 months, we are both in our 30's, we both have busy lives, we talk daily, and see each other a couple times a week. The relationship is physical, but not everytime we see each other. He calls me his "friend", but says that we are more than that, but doesn't refer to me as his girlfriend. Neither of us are seeing anyone else and he talks about things we'll do in the near future. I guess my confusion is, is he just taking it slow, or am I being a fool?

I know a lot of self-righteous Christians (I also know many who are not, but this is a question for those who are.)

How can you justify being self-righteous or putting yourself above others? You may think you are not, but to me any version of 'so-and-so is going to hell' or 'you are being guided by satan' is saying that these people are worse than yourself. As are any feelings of pride at being more moral, ideas of self-importance.

hi, i'm sixteen and about three months pregnant. My boyfriend isn't leaving, but he's acting really strange and depressed. me too. How can I help him? And what should I do? We think adoption is the best, but the months ahead are still going to be tough. Any advice would be great thanks.

I'm a grown up now, and I'm just figuring this out now. My mom was always angry at us....she ignored us when ever she had the chance. I have a son who is 13 now.....she hardly knows him. It seems she is incapable showing love to anyone. She hated everyfriend I had growing up...than she did the same as an adult....Not sure why...my brother and I have done so well, we have great lives...we are very nice people who have a lot to share. I think if it weren't for my mother...we would be closer to our father. I guess I'm all grown up and I'm finally figuring this out...I have a cold hearted mom who would rather ignore her kids..Has anyone else gone this as an adult? It has taken me a lot of soul searching,......now I'm not sure how to handle it??.........Please any advice out there????
