i could say Hinduism or Buddhism. i will communicate greater for Hinduism considering that i'm Hindu. Hindus have not got any penalty for apostasy, and those wishing to return to Hinduism are welcomed. Hindus admire all faiths, that is evidenced by using the actual undeniable fact that India has diverse religions and little or no inner conflict. Hindus have confidence strongly interior the thought of nonviolence and in karma, the two one in all which might make a contribution strongly to human beings appearing greater useful. diverse the failings i discussed for Hinduism could additionally prepare to Buddhism. easily, all religions are meant to be tolerant and non violent, yet specially circumstances there's a organic rigidity to unfold the religion and for some, meaning putting down different faiths in choose of their own (a minimum of that's what i could wager). this does not prepare to all components of faiths that are time-honored for lively proselytizing, in undemanding terms some. No faith preaches violence, that is going against undemanding ethical fiber, yet diverse lack of understanding, misinterpretation, and communique finally ends up interior the non secular conflicts all of us be attentive to right now.

budhism is peaceful, that does not mean there were no wars involving budhists. ofcourse there were. but those were not based on differences of religious beliefs. its just like any other king who want to expand his influence and expand his kingdom and lordship over others.
None of the battles or wars involving budhist countries were fought in the name of Bhagvan Budha.
Another fact is that Budha was born in a Royal family, he was a prince. But never fought.
Yes Budhism is the most peaceful religion i've come across so far. Thats my opinion after considerable research.

In my little opinion...
Zen is very personal. When you understand the design that causes suffering (in any given situation), you know that it is never the true intention of any one's action. Knowing this, you don't take offense from any one else. The offensiveness is just a product of misunderstanding. In this way the action of any offensive gesture is seen as a product of being human. Of course, you realize that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Now, it's easy to forgive.
What I've said here is simple. Everybody knows it if they look simply. I hope I have answered your question.

Buddhism is not a religion. It is a concept of life and inner peace within one's self. A person can be a Christian, or any religion, and adhere to this concept. And, you must admit------it is a very good philosophy to live by.

What? no wars? What about Japan in the middle ages or China? I think it gose deeper then you believe. They believe they live only to serve the Shoguns which requried life most of the time.

This question is another perfect example of the devil and his ability to distract us from Jesus Christ and him crucified.
All the side issues of very little meaning are asked and no one hears the message of Jesus Christ for them.
We are sinners in need of saving.
Thanks be to God for His grace.
Thanks be to God for His saving us through the person Jesus Christ.
