Right now you can lie down with a hot water bottle or a heating pad. (ThermaCare makes heating pad inserts for panties that can be stuck to the belly area of briefs. They give hours of warmth.) Get into a fetal position or better yet curl up on your knees, face down and hold the warmer to your belly. Breathe deeply and try to relax.
In the future, watch how much caffiene you consume before your period. Reduce tampon use to the lightest absorbency that is effective or wear pads. Stay active during your cycle. Exercise reduces cramping.
Personally, Midol works wonders for me. Why suffer when you can just take a pill and get on with your life?

Exercise can help. I know it is the last thing you feel like doing when you are hurting-but it does help.
Also, a hot bath or a heating pad may relieve some of the pain. Have you tried taking ibuprofen a few days before your period starts-it has been shown to help.
Good luck.

Not sure what you mean; womb cramps or muscle cramps? Agnus Castus is good for the former.
