They addressed their letter to Dave: "Dear Sockplucker" and continued "Duck Shoe" I'm quoting Daves column. If this appears in a newspaper should yahoo be able to delete the question. ???

Yahoo can pull anything they want. You read and agreed to the Terms of Service "Community Guidelines," and they stated that basically you don't have the freedom of speech because they can pull anything they deem offensive or anything else they really want to.

Also, currently Yahoo Answers is using some kind of automated abuse bot, so all someone has to do is report your question or answer for abuse and it will probably disappear.
