If an employer is caught hiring illegals the illegals get arrested and deported. The employer goes ahead and hires new illegals.

WAA,WAA,WAA! All I keep see is this BS about illegals taking jobs away from native born Americans. The reason most employers hire illegals is because they won't look down their noses at the job like native borns do.
When was the last time you saw some gringo or gringa picking and packaging fruit and veggies?
Or working as a janitor or cleaning lady for about $8.00 an hour? Oh yea, stand back! You might be crushed by the stampede of native born Americans just rushing for those manual labor jobs.
The next time you see a clean office building or hotel room,or even the fully stocked produce section at your local supermarket, just remember; it sure as hell wasn't an American that made it possible.

I'm with you on this. They do it occassionally, but their excuse for not doing it more is that the employer doesn't know they are illegal if they give fake docs. In the past there has unfortunately been some validity for this since employers weren't allowed to question the docs under labor practices. They need an easily checkable employee database so employers can be held accountable.

If the employer is caught hiring illegals, they will pay a hefty fine for each person and jail time, according to information on the I-9 form they are required to keep on file. However, it has to be proved that they knew they were hiring illegals.

They've done that a couple times, now, and there's a lot of public support for doing more of that. A guy(don't remember the name, you'll have to research it for yourself, not ONLY got sent to prison for 12 years, but all 400 of his illegal alien employees(guy ONLY hired illegals, too, if I read it right), got deported, and the guy's lost his business. He 'played', and he 'paid'...

The more that employers realize they're gambling with the future of their businesses by trying to go 'under the wire', the less inclined they'll be to do that kind of stuff.
