'All who make themselves great will be made humble, but those who make themselves humble will be made great. ' - Luke 14: 7-11

I know a lot of self-righteous Christians (I also know many who are not, but this is a question for those who are.)

How can you justify being self-righteous or putting yourself above others? You may think you are not, but to me any version of 'so-and-so is going to hell' or 'you are being guided by satan' is saying that these people are worse than yourself. As are any feelings of pride at being more moral, ideas of self-importance.

Humility's definition is "Quality or condition of being Humble"

Definition of Humble:
Marked by meekness or modesty in behaviour, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.
Showing deferential or submissive respect: a humble apology.
Low in rank, quality, or station; unpretentious or lowly.

Now I ask you. Do you practise humility?

I know this response isn't going to win me any points, but that's okay.

Well, Christianity is not so much of a destination as it is a path.
We begin when we acknowlege that we need God, then we grow from there.

Actually, Christianity is the antithesis of self-righteousness. We have said in our hearts, "I am a sinner, and I need God's direction and help."

So when it comes out of our mouths it goes like this:

If you have never come to the place of repentance to God, like I have, you are still separated from Him. Please listen and learn how to have that wonderful fulfillment I have found."

But, as you know, it gets misunderstood and people think Christians think they are somehow better. Nope. We have just realized and acknowleged how sinful we are.

Never judge a person because you can`t see their heart. God judges a person by their heart, not what they say, nor what they do, nor what they think.
...so, don`t touch judgement....

In internet, we are discussing matter of spiritual faith, religion.
We share what we knew, and from there, we might learn things that is helpful in our life.
Here, there is no humility, self-righteousness, pride...because we do not know each other.
Just let God do His job of "Judgement", okay?

in my opinion they have the attitude " my Religion is the only correct one and if you do not follow and do the way I say all of the rest of you are doomed to hell and damnation. therefore since I am right I must save you. " these people forget that GOD is to big to be in only one place and there are many paths and ways for one to reach their destination.
