Well, I've always thought that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were equal and the same, but in church, the gospel reading was Mark 13: 24-32, and the last bit "But as for the day or hour, nobody kows it, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; no one but the Father" seems to imply the Father's superiority over the Son. And the fact that Christ constantly alludes to the fact that He does the Father's will and all imply that God the Father is greater than God the Son. I think I remember my priest saying once that Father, Son and Holy Spirit were one and the same, so is there like a hierachy thing going on up there? To tell you the truth, I'm the sort of Catholic whose only exposure to the bible is during mass and the occasional flick through at home, as well as the mysteries of the rosary, so i pretty much suck.
