Hey all
I have just downloaded the new Internet Explorer 7 which garentees for a more safer website veiwing etc

I have one of the fastest broadbands with a minimum of a second that i need to wait for a page to load up.

But this new Internet Explorer 7 has made the internet pages load very slowly and it now takes around 10-20 seconds for a new page to load :(

What can i do to speed this up????
I scan my computer for cookies everyday so that wouldnt be the problem and i have set the security options to not scan every page that loads in the hope that it would speed up my searches but this has not help.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My suggestion is to dump internet explorer and get Firefox. It works about three times as fast, avoids spyware, and has some cool features.

Try turning the Phishing Filter off in IE 7, it has been known to slow down browsing.

Good luck.

Surprise!
Bigger ain't necessarily better.
Why do you think MS came out with this - to help YOU?
Guess again....

Go back to what you were comfortable with and take less heed of all the hype. Bill Gates has a few bucks; he won't be mad

One of my cousins has the same problem as you. I have never tried IE7 but I think you should switch back to IE6.
