What is the standard of living like in your country? What do you measure it against? What changes would have to happen for you to want to leave, and where would you go?

I realise that this is a stream of questions, but they are all related, and I would like to hear some sensible answers - the world is changing, the imminent collapse of national economies is being predicted and immigration and unemployment are changing the socio-political-economic face of the world. Thoughts please?

Can't people see that religion was just created to scare people and keep the low and uneducated fighting with each other so the higher-ups could stay in power?

The Bible was not written by God, it was written by men, with the purpose of controlling people unable to think for themselves. And today it's still working.

And why do religious people think that their kids need religion to learn morals? You can teach your kids to be good people without religion. And furthermore, religion teaches kids the undertones of religion, such as hypocrasy. "It's okay to speak out against gays, as long as you keep your own gay liasions secret."

And how can people say that Jesus being nailed to a cross is beautiful? You people are sick.

I posted a question last week and than you all for your answers to that question. Well I found out the answer to my own question.

I am going to be a daddy.... she took the test last night and it came back positive, and she took another test this morning and it came back positive again! We are happy and excited!!! Now just gotta tell our parents!

OK i have recently split with my wife and have access to my 2 year old son every sunday.summer time is great we can go to the park or the beach and everything is fine.
but now its winter and i try to keep him occupied in my home but i feel i should be doing a lot more for him.
