I was 10 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage on Monday. Yesterday I had a D & C procedure to get the remaining tissue out. As far as I know I shouldn't be bleeding heavily or at all since the procedure. My question is, when will my period start again??

Where I live, there are many Unions for militarily employed persons- the largest being the Officers Union, who if they feel that the pay is not reflecting the risk, might boycott missions abroad and such.

Why isn't there- or is there?- a Union of American soldiers that watch out for their rights and make sure they get everything they are entitled for economically, in healthcare and in education? As well as working on improving soldiers' rights?

It is true, that soldiers aren't allowed to express themselves politically in public, however, certainly they should have a right to a strong union?

What would you do if your husband wouldn't tell his mother that you were pregnant? This is our fourth baby, so yeah the excitement is a little less than the first, once the baby gets here it'll be different of course :) But, we're staying with his parents right now because our youngest daughter is undergoing medical treatments at Texas Children's Hospital and our ins. only pays 80% so that leaves us with the rest and that's well over 20 grand. Anyway, we live there and it's obvious, I'm 12.5 weeks and she knows but he will not come out and say something. I'm so angry and hurt I could scream! Do I have a right to be? Isn't it common courtest to tell her since we are living there for the moment? He's told other people, but not ONE person in his family. Why could that be?

I'm sure alot of parents go thru this, however I do not know how to cope sometimes. She drives me nuts. She's often mean to her three year old brother and talks like a baby to him when I've told her time and again he is learning to talk still and she needs to speak correctly, and then she has him say words like "poopy" which aggravates me more. She mouths off to me, doesn't listen. I don't spank but I do send her to her room when she gets out of control which usually ends with her telling me no she doesn't have to. Then she'll scream she hates me and run off. I've tried talking to her about it. I don't know what else to do, I don't think I can send her to her room for the entire day, and I don't think I can send her to bed without dinner. She does listen to my boyfriend though, and my ex-husband (her father) never disciplines her and never has since she was born. So I know she CAN listen and behave, but how do I get her to behave for ME?

My neighbour is 84 and suffers from really bad Alzheimers, It has got progressively worse and is now becoming dangerous to himself. He lives with his wife who is 82 and perfectly 'with it'.
She contacted the doctors AGAIN this morning to be told AGAIN their is nothing they can do, social services say the same.
It is heartbreaking to watch, and I feel so frustrated that no body wants to help...
Any ideas???
