Not sure where you are in Bristol but my god daughter loves the soft play venues. There is 'Jump' in Patchway (Industrial estate behind Asda). Its indoors, completely safe, lots of fun with other children, a cafe for you next to the play area so you can still keep an eye on your little girl and have a sit down and a cuppa.

All ages are catered for and they do birthdays. Not sure of the cost, but they are always giving money off vouchers to encourage peope to come back. There is one in The Mall too, but its more expensive and not as good apparently (according to mums I got chatting to whilst there)

You never know, you may meet dads in the same boat and be able to give each other a bit of moral support in this difficult time. There are also mums there for when you feel like dating again and you may have some common ground with them. It gives you a bit of a social life too.

Would just like to say your daughter is lucky having a dad like you. My access days with my dad were spent at my grandparents, watching the horseracing in a smoke filled room as he didnt know what to do with me. Well done you.

spend plenty of quality time with him you don't have to go out you could get a DVD and some popcorn and chill together, my 2 yr old loves this time with me!
if you do want to go out and cant think of anymore home activity's to do then why not take him to wacky warehouse or running wild, (i don't know if there will be a running wild near you but there will definitely be a wacky). or you could even take him to a petting zoo, or find out when his fave t.v programme is in town and take him to see it, i know that the cbeebies show is touring the country in December because I'm thinking about taking my son to see it!!

have fun with your son and enjoy every moment!!

u don't have to do something fun with him every sunday. u r doing it out of guilt.

sometimes it might be better to just keep him at home with u. read a book together, play silly games, sing silly songs. this is the stuff he will remember. doing this together at home, he will have more trust and love for u. taking him out every weekend is like buying your love from him. u need to build a bond that has nothing to do with going to the circus or watching disney on ice.
