Have you ever noticed that? I remember doing it as a child and now that I think about it, it doesn't make any sense. Are children taught to do this or do they see it on tv or is it just something that has to do with child development?

I'm about to have mine taken out next year because it's defective, and I never intended to get any use out of it, but....wow....this is interesting.

Is it ethical? Reasonable, when there are kids who are already here and need adopting? An answer to your prayers? Or something else?

I have done tons of research on this over the years & have considered breeding, but at this time I am still educating myself. Some day, I would like to breed, when I can devote the proper time to do so. Most people say that if your dog isn't "conformation show quality" that you should not breed. Yet some organizations feel "showing" BC's & having that be a requirement to improve the breed will only cause the deterioration of what this breed is all about--being a working dog. Do you think it acceptable to breed with the standards of Agility & Obedience competition & titles achieved (sports this breed excels in), or should show quality be a must anyway? Maybe a little of both?

I am prepared to do all that will be necessary, to produce a desirable litter including properly titled sire/dam & being an available resource of support to those who take pups from litters produced, but I wonder how other BC breeders feel about the conformation ring? Is it needed?

Ok, so my period has not come since april.. I am not pregnant after doin 3 tests... I came off the Pill about 4 months before this as it wasnt right for me... I met my roommate online because I just moved here and didn't know anyone and she DRIVES ME CRAZY. She has this obnoxious, forced laugh that keeps me awake when she's wandering around the apartment talking loudly on the phone, which she does constantly. When she's eating she smacks her lips and clangs the silverware so much that I can hear her when she's in her room with the door closed. I bought all the furniture and she's just slowly taking it piece by piece into her room and when I try to give her hints like, "Hey there's a sale at Target on chairs this week" she just ignores me. She's also constantly having guys over - yesterday when I came home from class there was a strange man in his underwear in the hallway. The worst part though is that she's ALWAYS HERE. She's a grad student so I guess that means she has a lot of free time to work, but SHE NEVER LEAVES!

I don't know what to do. Right now I am basically avoiding her. We are on a lease together until May. HELP.
