A *uterus transplant* may be possible!

I'm about to have mine taken out next year because it's defective, and I never intended to get any use out of it, but....wow....this is interesting.

Here's an article about it:

Is it ethical? Reasonable, when there are kids who are already here and need adopting? An answer to your prayers? Or something else?

WOW!!! That sounds really great. I would wait till there was more information on the procedure. I would also wait till there was a success story in an animal procedure that has been published because you never know what kind of crazy things go on in the world. I really hope it works because it could help a lot of people. It does sound really promising.

One cannot say what another women should or would do. If the modern technology is there, why not? I have been blessed with four children, not all women want to be mothers. This would be a very individual choice and would not bother me in the least. One never knows truly how another person feels unless they have experienced the same situation. Empathy only goes so far. God bless

If I wanted a child that badly, I'd do it. Why not? There are transplants for practically everything else. Adopting is great for some people. Personally, I want my own children or I don't want any at all.

some times women need to carry their own children, and this may be the answer to that.

personally i think with all the children who need to be adopted people should consider that before any thing like this.

i guess anything that will make an individual happy and willing to spend money on anything that will makes them satisfied and contented in their existence is okay, as for being ethical i see nothing wrong or violations of the ethical law, if there is any at all.

Why would it possibly unethical? It's a medical procedure to allow a woman the capability of childbirth. What's the issue with that?
