To impeach (and convict) a sitting president requires that he commit a crime (like perjury for example). "Failure in Iraq" is not a crime. As for the old and tired "he lied" bs, I remind you that not only our intelligence services believe Iraq had WMDs, but so did those of Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany. Even Saddam's own generals believed they had them. Testimony from former high ranking officials (those that knew) show that Saddam wanted the world to think that so Iran would think it also since he was afraid of what they would do if they knew the truth. We (and everybody else) were wrong. But being wrong is not the same as lying. Too bad the people (Bush hating politicians) who tell you what to think don't understand that. It's very simple (so simple even you can understand), if Saddam had let the U.N. inspectors verify the lack of WMDs, we would not have had that reason for the war. Wonder if he regretted that right before he hit the end of the rope?

Paleeeeeeez! He only said that because life is no fun when the rabbit has the gun. It is a feeble cray for mercy now that his army of Bushbots have been pretty much routed. And he knows his "lame duck-ism" is about to take place, BIG TIME. He don't have any sort of a blank check anymore and has to say where he spends every dime. He is trying to do everything he can in the last 2 years to make sure he doesn't leave office as the worse President we ever had(where he stands now) If he really care about how to win in Iraq he would have listened BEFORE he invaded.

Sure he does!

Bush's Iraq is in such a mess some top Brass said there were no viable options, and other's said that this should have happened 3 years ago!

Funny how General's start to talk when things change, and you get something close to the truth! Haven't heard one that agreed with Rumsfeld! Haven't heard one that agreed with Bush!

Wonder if he'll fly another oircraft on another carrier and declare mission accomplished?

Apart from being three years to late,a complete ceasefire, withdrawal of all foreign troops an agreed army of arab nations troops just to police things.REMOVE ALL AMERICAN INSTALLED POLITICIANS then let the iraqi people with the help of a genuine un effort maybe then the people of that tortured country will after seeing the terrible death and destruction can reach out to each other

he and blair should now bring our troops home to protect us.whilst our soldiers are defending other people our own countries are being infiltrated my fanatics.iraq can survive on its own now with help from the u.n.if the iraqi people are daft enough to let another maniac gain power then it is their fault.we have done what we set out to do and that was to oust saddam it must be time to move on and end the needless killing of our sons and daughters.
