i was in the drug store yesterday...black mom and her 2 black kids...literally SCREAMING across the store to each other instead of talking in a quiet indoor voice...the mom wasnt even telling them to quiet down

What is your favorite theme in science fiction movies, books, television or any form?

Is it the future or the past, time travel, space travel, alien worlds and visitors, fantasy worlds of the Dungeons and Dragons type, big brother totalitarian societies, paranormal or psychic phenomena or whatever? What type of theme do you enjoy most, why, and what is your favorite particular work or series of the entire genre?

Hi for the last week i keep waking up at between 3-5am and after that i am half awake and half sleeping. There is no reason i can think of for this. I have been going to bed for the same time for about a year that is 9:30pm and wake up at 7am. But just this week i've woke up between 3-5 for no reason. No one is awake, everything seemd normal in my room, it's still dark but still i keep waiting up at this time!! i can't think why though. Nothing has changed to my room or bed and nothing in my life has changed. What and why could this be??? Best and most detailed answer will get a 5 star best answer rating!! :))

I thought that Christianity teaches that the soul is immortal - after all, this is what we are seeking to "save" from eternal torment.

If the soul is immortal, then how can Ezekiel be correct? How can the soul "die" if all of our actions lead only to either eternity in Heaven or Hell?? Is this another contradiction in the faith??

Jesus also taught that people (His followers at least) will be ressurrected on Judgement Day. But isnt ressurrection an unnecessary action if our soul is immortal? Or, another contradiction?

He is about a year old. He looks like he is starving to death. He is very active. He has this cough he does sometimes too. I wonder if it could be heart worms? He does not have any other kind of worms. Also I like to how to make his skin more healthy. His skin is really dry by his tail.

lets say some one was to take more then the bottle of advil said....it says not to exseed 6 pills in a 24 hour period...what if some one was to take 3 times that much in 5 mins??? what would happen to them.. you read the warnings on a bottle how true is it?? how much would it take for some one to really get sick?

At the moment, a lot of eastern european people are coming over here, be them polish, latvian e.t.c.
Why don't all hard working (tax paying) british people emergrate to poland(this does not include our politicians) and then, after about 5 years we turn thier economy around and call poland the new england.

We will have a country with less polltion, less crime,more spacius. e.t.c

The abusive and cruel manner in which the baby suffers death, there is the further (and final) abuse of murder itself. Not only is the baby abused in the way it dies, it is abused in losing the privilege of life itself. In view of this, it is twisted reasoning which claims that abortion avoids abuse. Abortion is abuseone of the worst abuses of all.

If we can murder the unborn to prevent potential abuse, then why not murder the born who are undergoing actual abuse? Or, to put it the other way, if we protect the born who are undergoing child abuse, then should not we all the more protect the unborn, who are even more defenseless?
