Why does wind in High Pressure systems in the northern hemisphere go clockwise and in the southern hemisphere it goes anti-clockwise, i am doing GCSE geography, i need to know?

Child Protective Services told me that children belong to the state and not to the parent. I have had an issue with the same Social worker and she's trying to nail me with anything she can think of. The last time this happened she had to be told by a supervisor to back off of me because she was adamnetly trying to get me on something--anything. I want to know what my rights are and what I can do to get this woman off my back. My son, who is 5 but has the mentality of a 2 year old said something to a teacher and the teacher called CPS.....this is the same child whom last week rode a mouse through the kitchen and then to the moon....so..you tell me if anything he says should be taken to heart. He said he was being hit and then when I asked him why he had said I was doing that he said he was telling the lady about what his friends were doing on the playground that day.While my 7 year old sat there tryng to say that he's never been hit by me or anyone else, the SW told him to be quiet.

Three Asians have been found guilty of the murder of a 16 year old white boy in Glasgow. The gang abducted the boy, stabbed him 16 times and then set him alight, while he was still alive. Do white people not count when it comes to racist murders? No disrespect to the black and Asians killed in recent racist murders but this was one of the most appalling murders in recent times yet very little has been reported about it.

what habbits irritate you the most...i used to work in a factory that made paper bags for all diferent types of food and one of the women there used to pick her nose then stick her finger in her ear then between her legs and suck her finger this use to make me heave and i made sure i never bought any food that was in a bag we had made ugh!!!!!!!!!11

I have recently joined a very expensive diet bet made between some friends and myself. If you do not lose any weight per week you have to pay $10 and if you gain its $25 per pound. So heres the deal... Iam not losing weight ! Im dieting like crazy, I only eat my meals NO SNACKS ! and I dont eat after 8:00pm. I weighed myself today and Im UP one pound !! How can this possibly be??? Im going to start my period anyday...but still I expected to have lost at least 3lbs by today.

I replaced my old Geforce 4 MX440 with a new Geforce FX5200, before i replaced my video card everything was perfect.
after installing the new Geforce fx i turned on the pc and the power indecator light did not turn on, only the busy indecator light was on no beeps nothing and my LCD was clear i dont know what to do Please can someone help me

on here, i generaly ask questions that will either get peoples backs up or make them laugh and occasionally i will ask a question which makes sense.

I am from India. Here, sex is not so open as in US. While we boys, despite the negative environment, like sex, girls I have talked to all say they'll never, ever have premarital sex. Also, they in general do not like sex, and shirk from even talking about it. Have they not yet dicovered their inner feelings, and are obeying the mindset of parents, elders etc., or they really do not enjoy sex as much as guys do? If they do, how is it different?

The USA and its allies have tried, with limited success, to operate a crop substitution programme. But many of the farmers who have cooperated complain that they are much worse off than before. I imagine that it would cost far less for the USA and its allies to buy up the entire crop than all the money they spend in trying to suppress the opium trade and paying farmers to switch to other crops, even if they were to pay a premium (say, 25%) over the price currently offered by the middlemen. Then, if any is needed for legitimate medical use, it could be processed and bottled, and the rest could be destroyed.

Incidentally, does anyone have figures for the value of the opium trade to the Afghan economy and the current cost of suppressing the trade ?

Can anyone raccomand me a web site where to get sky channal frequencies? In particular I'd love to get Italian Channels. Is it true that with the Sky UK you can not get those channels because it aims at another satellite. I'm sure I can get at least Rai1. But how?

I have vision problems: floaters in my right eye that move across the vision field, halos around lights, difficulty distinguishing color shades especially at night , burning eyes, dizziness when i look at moving images. Basically my vision is always like someone just tried to blind me with a light minutes ago. I also have balance problems, left nipple discharge, candida yeast infection, pressure in my nose, tight neck, upper back pain that shoots into my right arm when I try to move my head to the right, horrible headaches, always bloated, nausea, inability to concentrate AT ALL, hot flashes and twitches accross my body. I am always incredibly tirred and without breath after climbing a couple of stairs. This has been going on for the last 4 months. It all started suddenly with a bout of double vision that lasted for about an hour - vision not corrected 100% after that and incredible fatigue. I am 23, female and this is killing my life plans - supposed to go for masters. HELP ME PLEASE.
