He is almost 2. He'll run to the door to pee. He will poop outside while there but also poops without warning in the house...I am ready to give him up!!! HELP!!!

I believe that crate training is the best way to do it. Don't give up. If you love the dog, I'm sure you will find a method that will work for both of you. Perhaps you should consult with a professional in your area as well, since I am sure they see plenty of this type of behaviour. After all, every dog has to go lol. Good Luck

Maybe the best thing for you to do is look up teh Dog Whisperer site and ask them. That guy is really good with dogs and dog related information.
Otherwise, realize that it's an animal and was never ment to have a house to live in. Get a dog house outside and keep the dog outside.

stick his nose in it and put him outside, or keep him in the cage while he is inside until he learns outside is where he goes.
