I know the blood leaves the area and it goes soft, but why doesnt it just stay hard?

Has anyone gone through an adoption hearing for their own child?
My husband's mother of his child and her husband are trying to adopt the child. My husband keeps in touch with her by phone and visits every once in a while ( we live in NJ and she in Colorado) and sends her gifts but they led the child to believe that her stepfather is the real father. There will be a trial for this, if my husband shows upa nd is fighting to not give her up for adoption can he lose, I mean doesn't he have to agree to it.
Just a side note, my husband has a clean record and has no problems that they could bring up like alcohol or drug, etc. He has 2 children with me and a mental health professional has even evaluated him and said he was fit (the court required both parents to do an evaluation or parenting class). The only thing they could use against him is that he hadn't visited in two years, he called and sent gifts but he was financially unable to travel (it costs over $1200 for flight, hotel ,car)

I asked a question about baby names...and I know it is over asked...but then people gave me thumbs down for it....I know it is over asked , but mine was unique...not just gimme baby names. Thumbs downs should be used for BAD answers and really stupid questions.

Hi,
I went to the doctor last week and he prescribed me augmentin for a problem I was having. It seems my sinuses were really clogged and I have bad post nasal drip. But because of this, mucus was going into my throat clogging it up and making me feel like I was going to faint and pass out. This usually happens a lot during the afternoon at work. This was before the medication and it continues after the medication. Doctor said it was an asthmatic reaction but it doesn't seem like asthma as I can breathe find. Any insight as to what else it could be? Thanks!

I am remodeling a kitchen and am struggling with the decision of gas versus electric cooktop. I like to cook but as a busy mom, I don't whip up too many gourmet meals. I know that electric smoothtops are easier to clean whereas gas has better heat control. Does anyone have any insight that might help me make my decision?

I have trouble backing up/reversing in the parking lot and in my parking space. I so use to driving a small car, I use to have a small car and when i back up out of a parking space i usually look at my mirror in the car, that one mirror where you can look directly back and the car is small so it's really easy but NOW I drive a bigger car and i can't use that mirror in the car b/c the car is pretty big and i've been trying to use the mirrors on the side but it's really hard. I don't know when i'm too close to the opposite parked car and i don't want to hit the other car. My question is how can I back up without hitting the opposite parked car and how do i iknow when to stop and how do i use the side mirrors and when should i stop before hitting the car behind me. I don't want to get too close to the car parked in the opposite parking space when i'm backing up. Thankyou so much!

She's at the age, the very difficult one! She'll be lucky if she lives to the next year! She has court tomorrow for skipping school and she continuously skips. I can go on and on the list is starting to get to be quite a long one. The fact is she doesn't really care! I've got all kinds of proffesional help, almost more than I can handle! I'm trying everything I can think of! It feels like I am powerless. She insists on behaving the way that she does. the guy i love lives in another country now. he says he has a small penis that does not work. because of this many times he has said he will end his life...recently he has found a girl he likes who likes him too, but he is reluctant to ask her out...and now he's only talking of ending his life since he cant have sex and give women that pleasure. i have tried explaining in every way it does not really matter, but he wont listen... i live very far off and im aat a complete loss of what to do. im afraid he will take his life..
could someone please help me by advising what positive advice i can give? i also would like to convince him to see the doctor but he says its very humiliating, so how can i do that?
