OK....I have a dilemma, remember reading a story in elementary I think about (fictional) about how the government tries to create everyone equal, so they make good looking people wear masks and good dancers and fast runners wear heavy weights....and smart people get shocked every couple of seconds so they can't remember anything...then at the end of the story a good looking boy takes his mask off and unties a good looking dancers weights and they dance around....then out of no where someone comes in with a shotgun and shoots them. then some people watching t.v. seen that and had an idea but then they got shocked and forgot it happened and the world just continues as nothing happened? Does any of that ring a bell...I can't for the life of me find anyone who knows what I am talking about....

I owned several- a soft blue Ninga Turtles lunchbox, a purple Beauty and the Beast lunchbox, a red 101 Dalmatians Lunchbox, a green Lion King lunchbox and a soft purple and yellow Pocahontas lunchbox. Just being descriptive to see if they sound familiar to you also:-)

I remember the free thermoses that came with them were really crappy! They smelled awful and leaked easily.

I would also be interested to find out the learning and career path of GPs and Hospital Doctors. How hard is it to become a Consultant? If a Consultant has and "interest" in a particular field, as my Consultant has in Epilepsy, what does that mean? Does it mean he has some specialty in the subject, or just that it interests him!! I cannot seem to find a resource which will answer all these questions I have! Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me!

I found out 2 weeks ago that I was pregnant then 2 days later was in the ER with period like bleeding that only lasted 1.5 days.Was told that I was having a threatened miscarriage. The dr said that he was really concerned that my hcg was only 16.4. and to go have it test 2 days later and it was then 39.1 went to the Dr he stated that he wanted to test it again 2 days after the last and it was 87.1. I am now supposed to be 5w5d pregnant and had an tv ultasound today and they stated that there was no evidance of pregnancy in the uterus or tubes. The dr then sent me for another hcg and I am waiting for the results. I have had no more bleeding than the one day I went to the ER is it still possible that I misscarried and that my HcG still was going up? Or is it too early to see anything on an ultrasound? has this happened to anyone else? I am driving my self crazy wondering if I am still pregnant or not!

My G/F and I are on a break at the moment. She is very clear on that she doesn't want this to be a break up, and that we will work on gettign back together. She told me if I started to see anyone else that it would be over. But now she is going out with a new group of friends, drinking, and partying, and there is a guy that is very intrested in her. She says that nothing has or will happen. But I remember how she gets when she is drunk, and I really don't want her going out when this guy is arround. She says to trust her, but I am finding it harder and harder to do so.
Is it really worth me waiting around for her? If we do get back together will all this just cause a rift between us once we do? Should I just tell her it is over and just move on to someone who isn't going to keep me on the back burnner while they "test the waters"?
