From experience, a player will keep playing you but a real man will step up to the plate and take a swing. If he's flirting with you and not asking you out, he's playing you while enjoying the ego boost. If he is truly interested, he'll follow through by asking you out on a date.

No exactly what you mean I was in this situation with my previous boyfriends, you can always ask ur m8s what they think but key signs are ; does he lok you in the eye?, does he toch you and hug you?; do you think he enjoys ur company? plus if ur firting there has to be something between you gd luck nehows xxx

I would say use physical contact.
Woman are allowed to use touch in our society, whereas guys normally are not allowed to, and I think it is SUPER powerful.
Even just touching his arm with your hand may give him the hint that you are interested.

what is your question? How to ask him or how to know if he likes you? does he hit you playfully? does he pick on you? if he does, chances are he likes you.
PS. Him having a girlfriend does not make a difference.
