compared to any latin American country America is way more evolved and progressive in that way ,,we welcome all cultures and races and try our best to create equal oppurtunity,,,these hispanics from other countrieare highly ethnocentric,,,they don't even see that as a negative trait,,,as long as you think thier culture is the greatest one,,then you can be as open-minded as them,,lol,,,they fail to see thier hypocrisy,,,

As long as people have the right to think for themselves there will be racism. As a society we have recognized that fact and passed laws preventing those thoughts from being enacted against the public. A government can no more force people to think in a "PC" manner than it can make the sun rise in the west.
As a people Americans have taken great strides in making race a personal issue and not a public one. We compare favorably with most other countries on this earth. Chinese harbor racism towards Japanese. Brits have serious problems with the Irish. Mexicans think that Guatemalans are sub human. Anywhere you look people are wary of that which is not like themselves. It's human nature.

I will not show my opinion about if USA is racist or not. I will only answer your acusation that any Latin American country is more racist than USA. Latin America is much less racist that USA and the biggest proof of that is the large multiracial population of those countries. In Mexico, for example, more than 80% of the populacion is multiracial (that's what you call "latino"). In USA almost there are no mixed people. In Latin America we had presidents of almost all races in the world: whites, mestizos, mulattos, indigenous, arabs and asians. As far as I know all presidents of the USA were whites, and allmost all them anglo-saxons. In its history, after the independence, Latin America received millions of immigrants also from various countries: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, East Europe, Lebanon, Syria and Japan. They all were received with open arms. Maybe with the exception of Bolivia and Guatemala racial tensions in Latin America are very low, almost non-existing. I can't remember any case of racial riots in Latin America, even beeing the most multi-racial region of the world. These riots are very common in USA, Australia and West Europe. Maybe the mestizo Mexicans and Central Americans in the USA are getting very racist, I don't know cause I don't live in the USA. But if it is happening I believe it is a reaction to racism towards them, cause they are not racist in their country.

You lived in Peru and Mexico for 3 years and you probably did not see any white Mexican or Peruvian? you nevertheless think of there are not any whites in Mexico or Peru? of course you're faking. in case you have have incredibly lived in Peru you would be attentive to that there is a sturdy Asian community in Peru. And that an Asian replace into ELLECTED president of Peru. Very ethnocentric, do not you think of? do not attempt to pretend, i'm gazing you.

The lib party pinions their platform on the "racism" of America.
By perpetuating this lie, they have subjugated generations of minorities by keeping them poor, unskilled and uneducated.
This in turn weakens America both socially and financially.
Libs are the true bigots.

Usually the race cards are thrown out when the debate on illegal aliens gets too hard.
No one in America is racist for wanting their border protected.
Just because Mexicans are on the other side doesn't mean that people " hate " Mexicans.

You're right, we are one of the most benevolent countries on the face of the earth. As Gokart indicated, they merely use this as a sympathy tactic, one that is way overused and worn out. When the illegals play the brown card, you have won the debate.
Darkanal is a hypocrite, whining about racism yet she has insulted Native Americans on occasion.

I think in the case of some countries that they judge us from the past. Like when the KKK was in their Hay day.
From what I have seen of the Latinos on here and the Latinos that were participating in the rallies in May, you are correct. Just from my observation.

Could it be?
On a different note, "Because when people use profanity in the name of patriotism and being a true American to curse out people with sexual slurs in defense of their position here via hatemail with closed mailboxes, they have lost the debate!" They show us cowardice.

You are right. people see us that way. The reason is because we are trying to curb "illegal" immigration. Most other countries have laws harsher than ours concerning immigration. It is hypocrisy.
