Turtlenecks are always in. Every woman's wardrobe should have a couple as staples. They are a must... year round.

Turtlenecks are always in for the winter. They also have nice sleeveless turtnecks for the summer. Those that say they're out are wrong. I saw so many women the other day with them on and I thought "hmmmm, time to pull mine out" or "get some new ones".
If you don't like turtlenecks you'll wish they were out, but I LOVE them! There are some gaudy ones but they also have some very attractive ones and choose the ones that look the best on you. Stick with the ribbed one, those are much nicer. The plain non-ribbed ones go best under shirts, vests or sweaters.
To each his own, but a turtleneck (not baggy) if worn with the right pants or jeans, and a good color can look good.

The scoop neck is very in right now... It's like the turtle neck but loose...
I think there's a lot of cute turtlenecks out there, get the ones with ribs or detail. The ones that are plain cotton with no texture are very out. Other than, I think you're set.

I have lots of loose neck turtlenecks they are warm I do alot of walking around town and I'm in an out the turtle necks let me go lots of places and I don't need a scarf. Plus they are stylish just pick a nice loose necked one good soft material. but don't wear them all the time you've got to show some skin sometimes you know!

Turtlenecks are a basic - they're never in or out.
Since vests are a huge trend for fall, turtlenecks are a must-have for layering purposes.

Turtle necks are always IN, it just depends on your fashion taste. Turtle necks go great with a jacket and jeans, worn underneath a sweater or button down shirt. Great for layering.
