I am going through a lot of change in my life and I know to trust God and read the word but my problem is that I want everything solved as as soon as possible. Is it ture that we are a work in progress that in ongoing and continual? and why does certain goals and dreams take so long to acheive especially when I desire them? How have you handeled or dealt with this situaion in your life? Godly, practical and spiritual answers only please.

I have started seeing a girl, I like her. I thought she liked me BUT she hasn't invested anything in it. I have arranged all the dates, I have paid for everything, meals, drinks etc, and I have made all the phone calls.
We get along great when we're together, and there seems to be chemistry. But then again, she hasn't even bought me a drink yet (despite the fact that we sat in a pub for about two hours)!!
I mentioned this to a buddy of mine, and told him that I planned to move on because she obviously wasn't that keen when he said she might be but might just be playing by "the Rules"(a book).
I don't know if I am pleased that there might still be a chance of something or angry that I am being duped. I would like to talk to her, just to get it out in the open, but have no idea how to bring it up (I can't exactly say "So do you just not fancy me, or is this just a big ol'game?"). I don't even know what I would like to hear.
Any ideas? How would you feel

My daughter is a very young, but thin girl. She is thirteen and in the 7th grade. I've asked her where she has been going during dinner time, she usually says, "Oh I went to my friend's house, we ate dinner, very yummy." She is very active in almost every sport. But I've found an workout planning sheet in her bedroom. I've asked her how much she weighs, she says, "I weigh 76 pounds now." I've tried to stop her, but she won't listen. I don't have to worry about her with those people on myspace or xanga, because she doesn't have a computer. And suggestions?

I still have feelings for my ex boyfriend in some ways. I have to see him everyday at school because he's in all my classes.We ended things pretty bad in the summer, but it didnt seem like a big deal bcuz we were always breaking up anyways. Towards the end of the summer I ended up going over to his house and everything was cool, he told me he stil loved me and we were fine but then all of a sudden when school started back up in August he's been acting like an ***. He's been acting like he cant stand me and cant stand to be next to me but just 2 days before school he was talking to me on the phone...whats up with that???

My eldest daughter is ten and wants to start shaving her legs, my wife says no, but I am unsure. My argument is that her hair on her legs is quite dark and now that she is going swimming with the school I am worried about bullying. My wife thinks that she is still too young and that once she starts shaving she'll be doing it forever. My daughter wants to shave her legs as it will make her feel/appear more geown up. My daughter is 15yrs and is a follower of my house rules which are probably quite strict, but not without reason. Meaning that they are consistant and do not bend. However, she has had a boyfriend for about 6 months of who I disaprove of as he is a BAD BOY (15) who has and is often in trouble with the law. I cannot split them as I have tried and I can only punish her if she does wrong. I have waited for them to split naturally which has not happened and they claim to be in love.
My problem is that he has difficulty following my house rules and he will not do as I ask when asked to go away or not harrass her when she is upset with him. In my opinion he treats her with intimidating tactics and threats of finishing. He is someone that you can talk to once you have got past his initial anger but it is the anger and pure defiance that I cannot deal with. Has anyone any ideas as i am at the end of my tether and I cannot take him getting in my hubbies face cos he knows he cannot touch him.
