Onboard graphics cards are usually basic but there are exceptions to this rule, however being basic they do not perform very good with todays complex games. So in my opinion, if you wish to play games on your computer you definitely need a good quality AGP card to get the best gaming experience... Hope that helps

Generally speaking no.
Dedicated video cards PCI-E are the newest most expensive graphic intensive for gaming, video editing, video playing and so forth. Some have large amounts of memory. Some game systems have 2 video cards with 1 to 2 GB of memory! And the os has another 4 GB or more of memory!
AGP and PCI are older technoligies are older.
Depending on how old your computer is some AGP 8X cards and some PCI cards ** WILL BEAT ** some intigrated onboard graphics chips BUT likewise if your new system is a few months old it can beat some very older AGP cards and PCI cards.

No is the short answer. There are lots of reasons why; but the main way I can explain is tha tit would be like dressing mutton as lamb. It is not designed to run the latest games and is more to run the basic applications on your pc and "older" games.
Companies who do this will make more money off you and do it for that reason.
If you can find someone who can help you or research it so you do it; it is better, cheaper and you end up with a much finer system if you get your parts from a computer fair and build your own pc. May not be as cheap as one of those "pc world" systems but wont be much more if you already have monitor etc..... and just require the base unit.
This way as well you can update "bits" or replace as necessary. Computers with onboard graphics cannot be as they cannot be removed and dont have the required slot for a graphics card to go into.
Hope this helps!

The PCI exhibit fit in additional moderen pcs have a PCI 2.0 slot which will blow away the onboard move rates. GPU playing cards also (in case you purchase an extremely effective one) have a heck of a lot more effective pixel pipelines. they actually have the glaring income of taking the load off of the CPU and onboard ram and searching after the picture processing area. particularly of utilising your onboard RAM the gpu has integrated dedicated ram that can help you alleviate any bottleneking led to by technique of graphically severe classes. The onboard ram contained in the snap shots card can help you besides because the gpu doing the snap shots processing. There quite is in basic terms not any evaluation between having an onboard snap shots processor or having a 8800gtx searching after that area of processing. you is in basic terms not dissapointed. i'd recommend the 8800gtx with a minimum of 512mb ram or 1GIG. make certain it has ddr3 or 4 reminiscence besides at least of a 256bit reminiscence interface.

PCI is better, and AGP is better than both of them. When you use onboard graphics card your PC would be slower because the CPU gives some buses to graphics processing.

No because, onboard cards share your computer's memory.AGP or PCI cards have their own memory chips!
