Yes it is turning to the ego-mind and living in the world.. It is believing you are seperate from God. We sin every moment/ Even when you do make the u-turn and seek to get back (to where we once belonged) I find it hard to get back Home..It is taking me years of unwinding.
Impeccability would be also not turning against yourself and others in thought, word and action.
The problem is we do not see ourselves as being One..
Actually have trouble with the concept "sin" still (and I think people that hammer on homosexuality as sin really have never given it any thought and are just guessing at what it means. They think it is something others do, not them, making them commit the sin of "pride".)

False.
Sin is disobediance toward God. King David sinned but did he reject God as king? No.
Rejection of God is aided by sin and causes sin. But I believe the rejection of God is the root of disbelief that causes mankind to become dark and lost.

Sin is anything that goes against God- Take the 10 Commandments for instance- This is God's law. We are not saved by His Law, but it is a school master to show us we have sinned against Him.
Romans 3:20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
--The only sin that is not forgiven is rejecting the Holy Spirit- that is to reject Christ and salvation....that will not be forgiven.
Mark 3:28-29
28"Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, 29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin" --

False. Sinning is thinking other people as things. Of course from a religious point of view that would mean not following the rules your religion, or your god, lays upon you, so if you are a believer, then it's true.

True. I believe that sin is what God is against, and I believe sin is ugly. I believe God doesn't like ugly, and that God rejects ugliness, because God's creations were intended to be and remain beautiful. Even though God doesn't like ugliness, I believe God forgives, and that that's why you can hear people as they say "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do/say."

"Sin must be redefined as deliberate disloyalty to deity. There are degrees of disloyalty : the partial disloyalty of indecision ; the divided dis loyalty of confliction ; the dying disloyalty of indifference ; and the death of loyalty exhibited in devotion to godless ideals." Quote from below.

i don't think it's rejection, but it is indeed disobeying.many ppl accept God,but still disobey, well satan is there to make u do sins.
sometimes personal desires lead them to do sin....i don't think it's rejectino of God,as u can revert back from it.

sin is a construct of the human mind. to sin, you must first believe in sin and believe that the act is "sin-full"

Sin would assume that there is a higher being to sin against. If there is no higher being, then there cannot be sin.
