I know this isn't a question but I figured I would put this here.
If you did answer my question about how religion as we know it could just be a cult, then thank you.
This was partly my opinion, part experiment.
I find it interesting how people are willing to completely trust something that shows no proof of existing. How strong people's faith is and how it can completely thwart their views on reality. It taints their thoughts, for the good and bad. How they won't even acknowledge what is so plainly obvious.
That question was intended to step on toes, provoke anger, and most importantly, deep thought.
I found it interesting that many of those that agreed with me were Pagans, those said to be EVIL. Yet, ironically, that religion, which if you Christians took time to look into, is the most accepting of people, the one that doesn't judge.
For those answered or even just viewed my question, thank you. If anyone has any opinions on it still, go ahead and put it here.
