Texans seem to be the majority when answering political questions. Thank God, they are not as stuck to their political party as my family in Texas. We get into some cool debates over politics. I am in Michigan and they are in Texas. They do not even admit to knowing anyone from Michigan because we are so liberal, Not the point.
Why don't those from other states answer political questions as Texans?

She makes snarky comments about him having little scratches on his fingers from digging in the dirt; she changes his haircut; she makes cutesy baby-talk to him - he's three; she sniffs at me when my porch is untidy; she changes his clothes the minute she gets hold of him; she says in a sing-song voice, Time to kiss mummy goodbye!; she comments tidily on how he eats EVERYTHING when he's at Daddy's house, while he's a bit picky with food for me; she doesn't tell me important things about his behaviour when he's with her. I know I am grateful that he is being well-cared-for at Daddy's house; but the woman drives me nuts. She always makes me feel like an inferior mother. Do other mothers feel this way about their kids' step-parents?

And yes, I am always very positive when I talk about her with my son, I know how important that is. But am I the only one here?

this guy im really good friends with asked me if i liked him and i denied it. he didnt upfront ask me though, he sent this desperate girl who would do anything for him to ask me in front of all my friends who was friens with him too. I use chopsticks and write with my left hand, and I usually use forks, spoons, etc with my left hand by instinct, but I play all sports with my right side. I kick with my right foot, I dribble with my right hand, I play tennis with my right hand. I also use the scissors with my right hand. Would I be considered left or right handed? I'm so confused. Also, I asked another question on Answers, "Are language learning skills genetic or innate?", because I love to learn languages and I seem to learn them really well really easily, especially with grammar, which seems more logic and left-brained. I'm taking a psych course, and I know that main language learning centers are on the left side of the brain, such as Broca's area, and not in the right brain. If I'm left-handed, shouldn't my right brain be more developed rather than my left brain? So would I really be considered left or right-handed?

This might be strange, but in the past I've hated the taste of cheese, so I haven't eaten it at all. However, in the past few weeks I've eaten cheeseburgers, and they weren't too bad. I'm going to try to learn to like cheese, perferably starting out with cheese in sandwiches. Any advice for types of cheese I should have. I had american cheese with the burgers, which seemed ok, although not too flavorful. Lots of sandwich stores in the city make sandwiches with provolone cheese, but I've heard that provolone is rather strong tasting and might not be good to start with. What would be a good way to start liking cheese?

I have a 6month old kitten. He is very loving and playful. I feel guilty every time I leave the house, because I am afraid he will be lonely by himself. So I adopted a 3month old kitty to keep him company. I think he does like having a playmate, but he is more reserved and indifferent towards me. I miss the loving little guy that used to snuggle with me, etc. Is this a phase that will pass, or is this how it's going to be as long as there is another animal in the house? And if it's something that won't pass, is it really that bad for cats if they are the "only child?"
