My grandson's mother feels it is ok for him to ride forward facing, because supposedly the doctor said his neck muscles were strong enough for him to do so. I think that he should be rear facing, not only because she is breaking the law but because it would be safer. Her reply is also that he would hurt his legs riding backwards.

I am going to school and need a laptop. the three i am thinking of are: Sony sz 340, apple's macbook, or the alienware sentia m3450. all of them are pretty similar (besides the mac os). i will not be gaming on this system, but need one that is good for typing, surfing and watching movies and stuff. graphics is not a huge deal, but id like the battery to be descent.

I want to buy my girlfriend some straighteners for Xmas as the ones she had got now are naff (Nicky Clarkes) She has wavey brunette thin hair. After speaking to my female friends they have advised me to buy either Babyliss or GHD straighteners. I've heard scare stories about the GHDs burning ppls houses down etc but Ive also heard that they are the best. To be quite honest I am a bloke and need some advice. About a year ago my parents had to get a new motherboard put in. Ever since then the sound has not worked right. The only way you can really hear anything is on headphones. When the speakers are plugged in (and yes we unplug the headphones when doing this!) you can hear a very low sound if you put the speaker right next to your ear. I have put all the volume settings on their highest and nothing is muted. Do they just need to buy new speakers or what else could help?
