As many have indicated, masturbating while being involved in a relationship is not considered cheating, then answer me this: You and another person you're attracted to, masturbate in front of each other, "without" ever touching each other, now is this considered cheating?

Are you involved in a relationship with someone besides that person? I guess you & the person you are involved with would have to determine what is considered cheating.
Someone may think it is cheating to have friends they don't know about. Someone else may let you do whatever you want as long as you come home to them & tell them everything.
Sorry, there is no easy way to answer this :(

If are on here asking this question, you cant trust him and without trust there is no relationship and without that can be no you two. You giving him another chance and only way you can be sure is if he is with you all the time. I could say dump him but you have chosen to give him another chance for a reason....he can say he would never hurt you but he has already and only you can decide, think why did he cheat on you? think carefully and try and forget it what happened as keep going on may mak relationship worse. try and trust him again but if you find yourself still living in the past you need to move on coz he may have changed but that wont be fair on u or him to carry on. as there wil be someone else out there who wont put u through this and stay faithful to u. think alot it helps and when he back talk to him about everything thats been on your mind and tell him you really need assurance. good luck hope u make the right decision

Blimey this is a difficult one... I don't think it is cheating as such as there is no touching from the other person although it is an intimate sexual act. I don't think I would be too impressed masturbation should be done either alone or with your partner not with some random person you are attracted to. How did you come to be that situation anyway??? Ask your partner see what she/he thinks.

There are many forms of cheating. And yes, I think most people would agree that if you masturbated with another person that wasn't your exclusive...that would be cheating. Ask yourself this...would you do masturbate with this other person in front of your partner? If not, you know it's wrong. If you would and your partner enjoyed it...well, there...there's another fun thing to add to you and your's sex life!

Obviously you KNOW it's cheating but you're trying to justify having done this, still doing this perhaps to someone else. If you're all by your little self masturbating, you're BY YOURSELF...you know....ALONE....???!!! When you bring anyone else into it, the room, any other physical presence, what's the next step then? Hmmm??? You know it's cheating just like being an online porn addict is cheating........!! Not that an addict who's not ready to admit there's a problem is going to admit it, maybe something you're not ready to do...admit that it's cheating?

How many answers do you need telling you that it's not cheating will it take to justify your behavior? Probably only one.....!!! That's all you need as the excuse....I know you......different name, different place, different time maybe, but I know you!

nope - no more is it cheating than is a circle jerk in the boy's shower room and indication they are all gay. However, if you are fanticising about him while you masturbate or your activity leads to more than self-masturbation in the presence of each other or you wind up doing it together way too often, then I might question your motives.

Cheating is when one of you is not giving the other what they need and want....if your partner is not giving you what you need and you feel the need to masturbate with other guys then you have a problem

you're dodgy, mate.
i'd say "yes" that's cheating - it's an intimate sexual act - the notion of masturbation by oneself is a solo sexual act; doing it with another person present makes them party to that act, so it is cheating.

Yes, I would consider this as 'cheating' in my books.

Even if you are not having any physical contact, you are still having sexual dealings with another person.

I believe cheating is any form of lusting over another. Flirting, kissing, masturbation, whatever. If it is a lust for another person involved, one must check themselves and thier intentions!!!
