It depends on the type of love. If it was a mellow (friend, distant family, great coffee) degree of love, I could probably do without it and not go nuts.
But I’ve had extreme, I think my chest is about to burst, the mere mention of her name makes me feel completely queezy (in a good way) and if I don't get to at least caress her unnaturally perfectly smooth skin for just one second I'm gunna die crying, crazy-insane type of love. THAT I would give up anything for an hour of (let alone a whole day!) because under it's influence everything is better, I mean reds are redder, greens are greener, the sky is bluer, and life is sweeter. You walk taller and smile wider. Why would you not want to feel that? (even if it is fleeting)
So... fine, you may never know what your missing if you go without, but deep, hard and infectious almost crippling and mind numbing, kryptonite type love IS worth experiencing, if only a taste.
Some people have no idea of the love I'm talking about, or if they do, may never get a 2nd chance at it. Those I feel sorry for.
I'd rather know of it than be oblivious (even though going without it after losing it LITERALLY feels as though it's tearing shreds out of my chest)
Anyhow, I would take the day, It could be the best day of your life!!!

Love for one day, for sure. Loving someone is such a great thing! You know an opinion that loving someone is a greater happiness than to be loved. I totally agree. Nothing can can be compared to those feelings! The butterflies in your stomach, smiling all the time like a crazy, crying in your pillow for the whole night... THAT IS HAPPINESS!!! Isn't it? Yes, there is pain sometimes. But it only shows you how good you felt. And will again.

I would love them like there was no tomarrow which is how I believe we should all love someone. Why would you miss the one day in your life that you could be totally and completely happy. With all the sadness in the world we should all reach for every minute, hour and/or day that we can get.

even one day is worth more than nothing....course it might leave you yearning for an awfully long time. so maybe it is better to "not know what you are missing"....me whatever way it happens, I am ok with it.
