Have searched the web for ideas. All the websites just wish to sell you their products. This has likely been a problem since forever, so there has to be something out there that people used a hundred years ago. Anyone have something they got from their grandmother? Hi, Below is a question of polynomials. Could you please help me get to know how the answer is obtained in a detailed way? Please make sure u explain the answer and its steps clearly so that i can understand it. Thanks a lot in advance!!

Qn: When a polynomial, P(x), is divided by x-a, it leaves a remainder of a^3 and when it is divided by x-b, it leaves a remainder of b^3. Find the remainder when P(x) is divided by (x-a)(x-b).

Note -> The answer to this question is (a^2 + ab + b^2)x - ab(a + b). However, I dont have a single idea as to how u get this answer. So please explain clearly. VERY CLEARLY.

Thanks.

I'm taking my parents to the Metropolitan opera on Saturday for the matinee. It's a big deal for them to be in the city (they live 4 hours away). I've lived there, so I'm jaded. I'm looking for something moderately priced, but something they can tell their friends about.

I was thinking Carmine's in Times Square, but the wait's long and we'll have a long drive back home.

Any suggestions?

I'm not trying to be mean or rude. It's just that nearly every single person I know who is gay or has had sexual relations with the same sex was either sexually or severly physically abused by a parent or family friend. Do you think there is a link between the two? If so should we raise an eyebrow when teens pronounce their homosexuality, and look into what might be going on at home?
