I have a couple of natural remedies for you - Try each one to see if it works for you. First of all, the infection comes from the natural bacterial level being thrown off - try eating a cup of yogurt each day - make sure it has active cultures.

Second suggestion: This will sound strange, but there is a tea tree oil shampoo that you can use for a body gel - it kills the bacteria as well.

Obviously it is your lack of hygiene. I would recommend bathing daily and not weekly. I would also suggest using fresh bath water each time instead of trying to conserve by leaving the bath full all month.

I think these are very good suggestions.......

Good Luck

i used to get yeast infections after my period. it was because of the type of pad i was using. you may want to change types or use tampons (if your periods are heavy enough and/or you feel comfortable with them).
